چکیده

The application of ultrasound with electrochemistry in organic chemistry (known as sonoelectrochemistry) accelerates the activation process chemical reactions. This hybrid technology enhances electrical efficiency and modifies increases product yield. Moreover, it facilitates mass transfer phenomena processes cleaning, degassing, electrode surfaces; maintains higher current densities for efficient transformations; also works efficiently mixing reactants multiphase systems. has a prominent effect heterogeneous reaction systems especially during solid (electrode)–liquid (electrolytic mixture) interfacial cavitation process. gains attention due to its fundamental positive make possible challenging electrosynthetic processes. Herein, we report sonoelectrosynthetic methods that will help researchers understand apply this methodology scale-up synthesis more modern innovative continuous-flow electrochemistry. Therefore, study provide valuable insight into effects caused by ultrasound-assisted electrosynthesis how revolutionizes synthesis. It is believed sonoelectrochemical serves solution limitations commercialization synthetic offers new, aspect clean, hassle-free, sustainable approach.

Electrosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide via the reduction of oxygen assisted by power ultrasound.

The electrosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide using the oxygen reduction reaction has been studied in the absence and presence of power ultrasound in a non-optimized sono-electrochemical flow reactor (20 cm cathodic compartment length with 6.5 cm inner diameter) with reticulated vitreous glassy carbon electrode (30 x 40 x 10 mm, 10 ppi, 7 cm(2)cm(-3)) as the cathode. The effect of several electroch...

Reductive electrosynthesis of crystalline metal-organic frameworks.

Electroreduction of oxoanions affords hydroxide equivalents that induce selective deposition of crystalline metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) on conductive surfaces. The method is illustrated by cathodic electrodeposition of Zn(4)O(BDC)(3) (MOF-5; BDC = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate), which is deposited at room temperature in only 15 min under cathodic potential. Although many crystalline phases are k...

Organic electrosynthesis using toluates as simple and versatile radical precursors.

The electrolysis of toluate esters leads smoothly to the formation of the radical of the alkyl fragment. This property has been used to develop a new electrochemical deoxygenation reaction.

Ultrasound-Assisted Biodiesel Production in microreactors

The ultrasound-assisted (UA) soybean oil methanolysis using KOH as a catalyst was studied at different reaction conditions in a microreactor. Box–Behnken experimental design, with three variables, was performed and the effects of three reaction variables i.e. reaction temperature, catalyst concentration and the methanol-to-oil molar ratio on fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) yield were evaluated b...
